Rob Sauven, Vestas R&D UK boss moving on

It’s been confirmed that Rob Sauven, the MD of Vestas R&D UK on the Isle of Wight, will be leaving the Danish-owned company in April 2014.

Rob has been with the wind turbine company for a whopping 25 years and during that time has overseen some of the most cutting-edge blade development in the industry.

Although Rob has resigned from the role, he will remain with Vestas R&D UK until April 2014.

Selection process initiated
A spokesperson for Vestas confirmed to OnTheWight that Servet Sert, Senior Vice President of Industrialisation in Vestas Technology & Service Solutions will serve as the head of Wind Capture Systems and managing director of Vestas R&D UK until a replacement candidate has been selected.
