Root and Branch Review update joins council’s Forward Plan

The latest Forward Plan has been released by the Isle of Wight council.

It details major decisions that will be made by the Cabinet in the upcoming three months.

There are several new items on the Plan including:

  • Progress Report on Root and Branch Reviews
  • Establishment of a Property Disposal and Capital Programme Sub Committee of the Cabinet
  • Adoption of the Localisation of Council Tax Support Scheme
  • Report on Customer Compensation in Connection with a Planning Enforcement Case
  • Follow Up Report on Staff Consultation Arrangements
  • Follow Up Report on Organisational Health Monitoring Arrangements
  • Settlement Announcement for 2014/15
  • Proposed Disposal of Salisbury Gardens (The Former Coastal Visitor Centre), Dudley Rd Ventnor – Final Decision
  • Proposed Disposal of Land at Stag Lane Newport – Final Decision
  • Update on Children’s Services Improvement Plan
  • Statement of Licensing Policy

There are also several deferment of decisions whilst further information is gathered.
