Ryde Arts Festival: A week of creative events

There’s plenty to see and do during Ryde Arts Festival week. It’s a great showcase for Isle of Wight artists, musicians and writers.

Ryde Arts Festival kicked off last night (Friday) with new music for wind and string ensembles by Richard Benger, Claire Groves, Beth Griffin and Cyrus Dean.

The week long festival has a huge amount on offer from exhibitions to spoken word, music to art, workshops and more.

Organisers have once again managed to secure substantial grants for the creation of new projects, so do make sure you check them out.

Events take place across the town both during the day and evening.

See EventsOnTheWight listings for full details.
