Not up to Walking the Wight? If you’ve got your own yacht, how about Sailing the Wight?
This year marks the fifth anniversary of the yachting race that aims to not only raise cash, but also awareness for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.
Last year around 35 yachts took part in the race which starts from Cowes.
Those getting involved can choose to take part in the race that goes around the Island or opt for a shorter 22 miles race in the Solent.
The event is organised by the East Cowes Sailing Club (ECSC) in conjunction with the Westerly Owners Association (WOA) and Gurnard Sailing Club (GSC).
