Yesterday a weather warning was issued for today, then it was removed, now it’s back in place again!
Parts of the Isle of Wight are included in an orange ‘Be prepared’ weather warning by the Met Office from 4pm today.
They say “a band of heavy showers and thunderstorms accompanied by hail will continue to affect some south coastal counties of England through this afternoon and into the early evening.”
Be prepared
They go on to say, “The public should be prepared for an increased risk of localised flooding and disruption to travel, particularly during today’s rush hour.
“The showers should gradually ease from the west this evening.”
According to the Met Office, some heavy showers will lead to 15-25 mm in the space of an hour along the South coast of the UK.
