Thanks to VB reader, Paula, for letting us know about some roadworks that may affect commuters tomorrow.
The stretch between Whiteley Bank and Godshill is being treated to “surface dressing works” (is this a fancy term for filling potholes?) and is expected to be closed to main traffic between 9am and 3.30pm (Tuesday 27 April).
The council website states that “access to Sandford Garage and Sandford businesses and premises will be maintained from the Whiteley Bank direction.
Access to all Godshill businesses and premises will be maintained from the Rookley direction.”
Check the diversion route if you need to go this way tomorrow
