This weekend sees Sandown Carnival return to the seaside town.
Celebrations start on Thursday evening with a Treasure Hunt. Follow the easy (and not so easy) clues around the secret route and the teams with the most correct answers will win cash prizes and trophies donated by Caulkheads pub.
Children’s Day
Entertainments at Eastern Gardens start from 10am on Friday including the famous Sandcastle competition.
Later in the afternoon the children’s carnival parade takes place with lots of funky costumes and floats.
Saturday sees the main Carnival procession takes place in the evening from 7pm. All are welcome.
