Sandown has it all this weekend: Brewed in the Bay and Hullabaloo Lite

Head to Sandown Bay this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) for a bumper offer of culture, science, heritage and more.

Brewed in the Bay
Bar and pico brewery, Boojum and Snark, are hosting a weekend of beers brewed by the fair hands of the Boojum crew.

Brewed in the Bay will be featuring beers they’ve brewed on-site using the electric BrewMagic Kit.

The selection will include:

  • Boojum – British IPA featuring British hops and heritage malt
  • Lacemaker Saison – packed full of coriander, pink peppercorns, star anise and ginger
  • Dubbel Trouble – a dry Dubbel-style beer that has been fermented with barrel blocks and bourbon
  • Candy Lager – a lager that features the addition of pineapple, think old-fashioned boiled pineapple cubes
  • Bitter Secret – a pale ale made with kviek yeast and Nelson Sauvin, Victoria Secret hops

Where and when
Boojum&Snark can be found at 105 High Street, SandownPO36 8AF.

  • Saturday 11am – 10pm – School of Rock: Doors, ACDC to Queens of Stone Age

Hullabaloo Lite
Those creative and innovative folks over at Hullabaloo are also hosting a ‘lite’ version of the annual weekender, with lots of see and do down at Brown’s Family Golf Course and Cafe.

From 10am to 4pm each day, expect an unusual combination of the arts, sciences and heritage together with the madcap antics of carnival and seaside traditions.

Head to Brown’s Family Golf and Care, Yaverland Rd, Sandown PO36 8QA.
