Sandown man arrested for Ventnor stabbing: Police appeal for witnesses to come forward

A man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Ventnor.

Police were called to a premises in the High Street at around 11pm on Saturday 23rd July, following a report that a man had been stabbed behind the address.

A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with superficial stab wounds.

Sandown man arrested
On Wednesday, a 29-year-old man from Sandown was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

He remains in custody at this time.
