SOS. We Need Your Shoes!
What do you do with your old or unwanted shoes, boots, wellies and slippers? Throw them away? How about all the school shoes and football boots, trainers and gym shoes. Do they go in the bin too at the end of each term?
Donate your old shoes
Well now you can donate them and help to raise those vital funds to keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives. We want all your unwanted footwear for our Save Old Soles campaign.
It doesn’t matter how old or in what condition they are, we can recycle them. We will sell on your footwear through reputable traders in other countries, or if they are past wearing, they can be used to repair other footwear, so nothing is wasted.
Order bags or drop off in recycling bank
If you have footwear you would like to donate please look at our website, or call our office on 02380 333377 and we will send you one of our green SOS shoe bags.
All you need to do is place them in your nearest HIOWAA recycling bank, and we can give you the location of the one nearest to you.
If you can collect a large quantity of footwear in bags, we can arrange for these to be collected from you. All we ask is that the footwear is dry, so that they don’t contaminate other shoes. Time to clear out the bottom of the wardrobe!
