With Christmas fast approaching many people will be putting their minds towards seeking out something very special for their loved ones.
Serendipity Diamonds on Ryde High Street will work with you to create something truly special and unique.
One route that is becoming ever more popular is remodelling jewellery that has been passed down in the family, but is not worn, now just left in a drawer.
Remodelling whilst retaining the ‘spirit of the piece’
Serendipity have decades of experience in designing and remodelling jewellery. They’re happy to help you through the entire process.
Perhaps there is a ring that’s been inherited. Of course it has sentimental value, but the design is such that it’s unlikely to be worn, or maybe it’s now too small.
Whatever the reason, don’t leave it hiding in a jewellery box or drawer, give it a new lease of life whilst keeping the ‘spirit still within the piece’.
Decades of experience
Mark’s team at Serendipity Diamonds are always happy to talk through the options, whether you have an idea of what you’d like, or perhaps no clue at all, they can bring their experience and knowledge to spark ideas and provide inspiration.
The metal from the original ring can be combined with additional metal if needed. Rest assured, Serendipity can use recycled metals, not freshly mined ones, adding to its eco credentials.
It might be that you incorporate new stones, be those diamonds or gem stones. Once again, Serendipity has you covered, with ethically-sourced stones.
Set a challenge
If you have a piece of jewellery you want remodelled, but really don’t know what you’d like to have done, Serendipity can do all the leg work for you.
You can set them a challenge of finding a particular stone – for example a mauve gemstone that is hard wearing and having great durability – and they’ll do the homework, ensuring that what is sourced and shipped to them is practical and fits in with your requirements.
Photos and 3D scans
If you’ve spotted something on the Internet that you like, share a photo with Serendipity and they can recreate it.
They can even 3D scan any item you provide, perhaps a beautiful shell, to create a bespoke piece of jewellery for you.
As you might expect, Christmas is the busiest time of the year for their workshops.
Bespoke pieces usually take around four weeks, so if you want something remodelled or created, you’ll need to speak to the team asap.
