We’ve had quite a few people asking us what the forecast for today was.
The response is rain, rain and more rain.
The Met Office are expecting such large amounts of rain the region that they’ve issued a severe weather warning, advising residents to ‘be prepared’.
They say
Bands of heavy showers moving eastwards across the region, will give accumulations of 15mm in 3 hours locally.
The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the latest Environment Agency, Floodline, and Flood Warnings in force.
