Snap Fitness Isle of Wight shortlisted for two National Fitness Awards 2025

Snap Fitness Isle of Wight has once again been shortlisted in the National Fitness Awards, the UK’s biggest free-to-enter fitness awards and are in the running for two prestigious national awards.

The club has been shortlisted in two categories: the Community Involvement Award and the Customer Service Award.

Recognising excellence and achievement
The annual event recognises excellence and achievement in gyms throughout the country with shortlisted facilities being as far north as Aberdeen and as far south as Devon.

The awards are organised by Script Events in conjunction with leading fitness industry magazine Workout, with support from headline sponsor ServiceSport, and in each category up to nine finalists have been selected, who will now go through to the next stage of the judging process where they will be out to impress by showcasing first-hand the great work going on in their clubs.

Judging process
This stage involves a visit to each finalist by a member of the awards team who will take a look around the facilities and chat to members and staff before compiling a comprehensive report, which will then be passed on to an expert judging panel to decide the lucky winners.

Trophies will then be handed out by television, radio and podcast presenter Natalie Sawyer at a glittering awards ceremony on Friday, November 28th at The Athena in Leicester.

Last year, the Snap Fitness IW team returned home to the Island as winners of the Customer Service award at the NFAs.

Musgrave: Our finalists really have reason to celebrate
National Fitness Awards’ event director Dominic Musgrave said,

“The National Fitness Awards are now in their 15th year and with more entries than ever before, our finalists really have reason to celebrate too as it’s a huge achievement to have made the shortlist and is testament to the teams behind each.”

Coles: It motivates us to keep giving more back even more
Club manager Victoria Coles said,

“Being a finalist again in the National Fitness Awards means so much to us, because it recognises what we believe in – that a gym should be more than just four walls and somewhere to get fit.

“Snap Fitness Isle of Wight, we’ve worked super hard to support local charities and events, connect with schools, groups and businesses, to create a space where the community feels stronger together.

“To have that effort recognised on a national stage is a huge honour – and it motivates us to keep giving more back even more!”
