Solent Coastguards are experiencing some problems with their communications system this evening.
VB has been told that a few aerials are not working but, as you’d expect, they have a number of backup systems that are providing cover.
Dover & Portland are assisting. Coastguard rescue teams are filling in.
The Coastguard told VB at 10pm that they are expecting the cable to be fixed overnight.
