The Solent Ice boat challenge that VB reported about back in August is finally taking place today.
The challenge was previously cancelled when it was discovered that the boat was not firm enough to make the trip – it’d turned to slush.
Bang Goes The Theory TV presenters are at this very moment, preparing to cross the Solent in a boat made of ice putting science and technology to the test.
