Grants available for new armed forces businesses

A new growth fund for young and start-up Armed Forces Businesses catering for service leavers, veterans, families, spouses, reservists and cadets has been announced.

Solent LEP has created a bespoke grant fund for young and start-up businesses from the military community.

In addition to hearing from Solent LEP on the grant funds being made available to Armed Forces Businesses, local businesses launched by the military community will speak about their own entrepreneurial experiences.

Training and networking
Opportunities to network and expert training will be available from Google’s Digital Garage, an initiative which is very supportive of the military community.

This is a fantastic opportunity to access the business support available, as well as access and network with local business, big and small.

Where and when
The event takes place on Thursday 15 October 2015 between 13.00 – 16.00 at Action Stations, Portsmouth Dockyard, 19 College Road, Portsmouth, PO1 3LJ

You will need to email [email protected] with your name and organisation in order to reserve a place.

Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
