An online auction like no other organised on the Isle of Wight is planned for next month.
Driven by the shattering news received by the family of Sophie Rolf a couple of weeks ago that the six year old’s brain tumour had grown since Christmas, Michaela White is planning an “auction like no other!”
100 auction items wanted
She is calling on Islanders and businesses to get involved and hopes to have at 100 items listed in the auction.
Michaela said,
“We need your support, let’s do Sophie and her family proud!”
Almost fifty items have already been donated ranging from a family photoshoot to handmade crafts, vouchers for beauty salons or restaurants, tickets for ice skating or bowling, jewellery, original artworks, framed prints, the list goes on …
Full details of all items already donated can be found on the Facebook Page.
How to get involved
Items can be posted to Kissypuppy Online Auction, 2 Lavender Glade, Ryde PO33 1BJ
Alternatively you can get in touch with Michaela by emailing her on [email protected]
If 100 items are pledged quickly, the date of the auction (27th September), may be brought forward.
How the funds will be used
Earlier this year, KissyPuppy, the Sophie Rolf Fund, reached its first £10,000.
The funds were donated to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice to help make their facilities more accessible for children and young people with life-shortening conditions.
