Matt Whitham has been lighting up his parent’s house with Christmas lights for the last decade.
Each year the display gets bigger and better, and taking three months to build, this year is no exception.
The displays are always very popular and so this year, Matt and his family have decided try to fundraise for worthy Isle of Wight causes.
Whitham: Both charities have helped a lot of people
Matt told News OnTheWight,
“For the first time this year we are raising money for charity. The charities we have chosen this year are the Samaritans and Suicide Prevention and Intervention Isle of Wight.
“Both charities have helped a lot of people through this tough time with Covid-19.”
Where and when
The lights will be on between 4.30pm and 9pm every day until the New Year in Goldcrest Close, Newport PO30 5FX.
If you’re planning to go along, walking to the display or finding alternative parking is strongly advised.
