St Catherine’s Day and Residential School is holding a Recruitment Open Evening on 24th March between 4.30pm and 6pm at their site on Grove Road, Ventnor.
St Catherine’s is a special school specifically supporting students with speech, language and communication needs.
Due to its specialist nature it employs speech and language therapists, occupational therapists alongside education and residential care staff.
Thompson: Somewhat of a hidden gem
Sarah Thompson said,
“The Open Evening is an opportunity for professionals to have a look round our specialist setting and learn more about our work.
“We are one of the largest employers in Ventnor, if not the largest employer, but we are somewhat of a hidden gem.
“I would encourage anyone who works in education, speech and language therapy, residential care or occupational therapy who is interested in working with students with speech, language and communication needs to come along.”
