Stable Story nativity a success for Shanklin pupils

Thanks to David Moorse for sharing news of from Shanklin CE Primary. Ed

Shanklin CE Primary School’s “Stable Story” Nativity Musical was a tremendous success.

With every single child in the school involved in one way or another, and experiencing the thrill of contributing to such a popular and successful show – it really has set a standard for future musicals for the school.

Father John of St Saviours kindly allowed us to use his Church to accommodate the high expected turnout, but even then it was absolutely packed with friends, family and neighbours – 650 people attending the Wednesday show, and 500 on Thursday

Natural performers
The children sang, read and performed as if they were born for it – and were quite taken aback with the overwhelming ovation at the end that prompted encores of “Amen” (see picture attached)

We are very grateful for all the messages of thanks and congratulations from parents, friends and neighbours.

Thanks also to “Isle of Wight Films” who kindly made sure there was a professional recording of the show, hopefully available to parents early in the New Year.
