VB have been publishing spoofs on 1st April since 2006.
How about one of our earliest? A piece about the Isle Of Wight being forced to change its name, after the US County (Isle of Wight) had trademarked the same.
We’re told that some of our spoofs were apparently so believable that they resulted in readers making outraged phone calls to their local councillors.
