Tory Councillor, Stephen West, who shocked Conservatives in Hampshire by resigning at a meeting of Councillors last Thursday, was announced as the UKIP PCC candidate for Hampshire at the party’s conference in Birmingham last weekend for the PCC elections.

Speaking in Birmingham last Friday, Stephen West said: “I am delighted to have been chosen by UKIP as the PCC candidate for Hampshire and Isle of Wight. Over the next days, I will be setting out my agenda for zero tolerance on anti-social behaviour and stopping the planned cuts in the number of front line police officers.”

  • No reduction in numbers of front line police
