Studio 5a, based on the Isle of Wight, is run by musicians Guy Page and Claydon Connor.
It’s suitably equipped to record demos, EPs or albums, at a very high standard of production.
Not being musically technical ourselves, we’ll let the lads tell you in your own words what they have to offer.
At the heart of the control room is a 16 channel 8 bus 80’s StudioMaster desk recording to Pro Tools via an M-Audio Profire2626 interface.
Rackmount effects and processors from DBX, Alesis, Peavey etc.
In the live room there’s some serious gear too. Mics from Shure, AKG and SE Electronics, guitar amps including Vox AC-30 and a 70’s Fender Twin, 60’s Premier and Slingerland drum kits, a Yamaha portable grand digital piano and loads more stuff knocking about. You’ll also have access to our collection of electric and acoustic guitars and electric basses, including Fenders, Gibsons, Martins and loads more.
This space happens to double up very nicely as a rehearsal room, with drums, guitar and bass amps, mics and PA provided, very convenient.
