Very sad to hear that the shooting on the nuclear submarine, HMS Astute, earlier today has resulted in one fatality.
Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed the fatality and that another person is in a life threatening condition.
In both cases next of kin have not been notified, but officers are in the process informing the families.
Our thoughts are with all friends and family.
