We’re not going to boo hoo about how much work goes into VentnorBlog and the VB Forum, or go on about the kind of nonsense associated with it that we have to deal with on an almost daily basis, or even how much time we devote to it … we’re simply going to ask for your financial support!
If you use VentnorBlog, please support it by giving 50p a week. What else can you get for that sort of money these days?
You’ll also have the benefit of a clear conscious that no trees were unnecessarily used in bringing you the news :)
How to subscribe
There are three ways – either do a quick bank transfer, send us a cheque or if you’re all ‘lectronic ‘n’ that, you could use PayPal.
We’ve picked 50p/week as a guide price, which if you’re thinking of six or twelve months worth, would work out to be £13, or £26 respectively.
If you think you’d like to donate more, or less, you’re of course free to pick the amount you think is right.
Lovely glowing feeling
No matter how much you subscribe, you’ll have the lovely glowing feeling that your supporting a small, grass-roots news organisation that is looking to provide an alternative.
Online / telephone banking
No, we’re not offering to split millions of pounds that we’ve got sitting in an Nigerian bank account, so we’re not asking for your bank details, but if you’d like to use this quick and simple method, drop us a line and we’ll send you our bank details.
Cheque
Cheques are tried and tested, so if you feel so inclined, get in touch.
PayPal
PayPal is an online payment company that is owned by eBay, so safe to use – all you’ll need is a credit card, or if you’ve got a PayPal account, you can pay directly from your bank account. Just click the button below to get going …
To make the load on your (virtual) purse as light as possible, £2 will be paid to VentnorBlog on a monthly basis for the next 12 months. This £2/month idea turned out to be a _bad_ one as PayPal were taking 27p from each £2 payment – Doh!
