There are some great new Summer courses happening in Ventnor this term but one particularly caught our eye ….
Community Mosaic
Be involved in making a large mosaic of Hygeia to go on the bandstand at Ventnor seafront. This will be made in sections and assembled at the end. Develop your mosaic skills as well as contributing to your community and seeing your work on display for years to come.
Starting on the 23rd April for 10 sessions (6-8pm) this is a great one to be involved with. Just imagine taking your nippers down to the bandstand in years to come and being able to say “I made that section there”.
As well as the mosaic course there are other new courses starting, including an introduction to jewellery making with Sophie Honeybourne, develop skills in hand built pottery with Juliet Robins or how about an experimental course in batik and silk and fabric dyeing with Lucy Wells?
