An update on the news reported last week about two female prison workers suspended from duty, following allegations of both engaging in sexual conduct with prisoners.
The BBC are now reporting that the HMP Isle of Wight prison staff, a 29-year-old and 40-year-old, have been arrested by Police.
They say the women have been arrested on suspicion of wilful misconduct and neglect to perform duty.
They have been bailed until 10 July.
