Richard Quigley, the Labour candidate for Isle of Wight West in the upcoming general election, has responded to recent tactical polling predictions with a message of determination and optimism.

Tactical sites such as tacticalvote.co.uk and getvoting.org have declared Labour is the best chance to beat the Tories in the Isle of Wight West constituency.

Recent polls have shown encouraging signs for the Labour Party, suggesting a close race in Isle of Wight West.

Every single vote counts
However, Richard urges voters to focus on the importance of every single vote as election day approaches.

“It’s an encouraging prediction, but the only poll that matters is on the 4th July. We think the result will be closer than any of the polls suggest and that every vote counts.

“Labour is the only party capable of beating the Conservatives or Reform and we’ll be working hard to make sure promises turn into ballot papers marked for Richard Quigley.”

Addressing Island issues
Richard’s campaign has been working tirelessly to address the key issues affecting the Isle of Wight, including Ferries, Healthcare, Education, and Housing.

The Labour candidate emphasises the need for change and the opportunity for residents to make their voices heard in this pivotal election.

Quigley: With only Conservative representation, we are invisible to government
Richard said,

“Our team is out in full force, speaking with residents and addressing their concerns. The support we’ve received has been overwhelming, and it’s clear that people are ready for a government that truly represents their interests.

“We are committed to delivering real change for the Isle of Wight, a Labour MP in a Labour government would be a powerful combination. With only Conservative representation, we are invisible to government. As can be seen from Bob Seely’s record.”

Engaging with voters
As the campaign enters its final stages, Richard and his team continue to engage with voters through various events, canvassing efforts, and community meetings.

The focus remains on ensuring that every resident understands the significance of their vote and the impact it can have on the future of their community.
