The beautiful NorthCourt manor will play host to a varied programme of string music when The Tagore Duo return for a recital on Friday 11th September at 8pm.
Frances Mason, violin, and James Halsey, cello, are well known not only for their expressive, virtuosic performances, but for their informative and entertaining introductions.
They will present a mixture of music from famous composers such as Bach to less familiar gems discovered by the duo.
The concert, set in NorthCourt’s magnificent music room, will take place during a weekend of chamber music when Frances and James will be coaching six groups of keen musicians from the mainland and the Island.
Proceeds from the concert will go to the Macmillan Nurses who do such a valuable job on the Island and nationwide.
There will be wine and soft drinks served after the concert, all in all this evening promises to be the perfect late summer soiree!
