Following on from last year’s very successful inaugural event, the Rotary Club of Ryde is organising Party on the Green 2015 and is pleased to once again have the support of Ryde Town Council in promoting this family fun weekend that will appeal to both locals and holidaymakers.

Take part in the ‘Great Ryde Cake Off’
The event will take place at Eastern Gardens, Ryde from 1pm to 6pm on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July and is free to enter.

The centrepiece will again be the magnificent tea tent with a selection of delicious handmade sandwiches and fantastic home baked cakes.

You can also show off your baking prowess by entering the ‘Great Ryde Cake Off’ baking competition that is open to professionals and amateur cake makers.

There will be a selection of charity stall holders, including the popular raffle stall and dice game to win a smart television.

Lots for the kids to do
Children are well catered for with circus skills, magician, face painting, balloon modelling, fancy dress competition, dog show and owl and falconry displays.

Classic cars and more
Adults will be able to view the immaculate classic cars, join in with the energetic zumba dancers, watch the amazing Bloodstone Border Morris Dancers and sing along with the exuberant Vox Pop Choir plus many more acts and displays.

All the proceeds raised will again be donated to local charities.
