The 10 most expensive Isle of Wight streets

A report by Varbes on the high-end property market in the Isle of Wight, sets out which streets have the highest property prices.

The report states that house prices on the Isle of Wight average £287,000, but over 200 properties have sold for more than a million pounds since 1995.

More than four times national average house price
On the street with the most expensive houses, an average property is estimated to be worth £1,403,000, more than four times the £286,000 national average house price.

Top ten streets for high end properties
The areas with the most expensive properties will come as no surprise to Islanders: Bembridge, Seaview, St Helens and Cowes.

Varbes say the house value estimates are calculated by adjusting the last sale price for recent house value changes:

  2. Beach House Lane, Bembridge Average value: £1,221,000
  3. Bluett Avenue, Seaview Average value: £1,150,000
  4. Seagrove Bay, Seaview Average value: £1,129,000
  5. Duver Road, St Helens Average value: £1,111,000
  6. The Duver, St Helens Average value: £1,110,000
  7. Love Lane, Bembridge Average value: £1,099,000
  8. Marine View Close, Cowes Average value: £1,061,000
  9. Northclose Road, Bembridge Average value: £998,000
  10. Swains Road, Bembridge Average value: £964,000
