Further detail on the bands playing:

THE CHANCERS (ACOUSTIC SET)
Ryde lads The Chancers has a busy 2006 with a string of gigs all over the Island from Ryde to Shorwell, gaining the plaudits wherever they have been present. Culminating in a wonderfully recieved set at this years Bestival at the Rizla stage, 2007 sees the guys in the studio working on new material. Collaborations with various musicians Island wide and nationwide are on the cards; watch this space for updates as they come in. This night will see a more relaxed acoustic approach, if you’re lucky you may hear a few new tracks too!

PLUSHY EDWARDS (ACOUSTIC SET)
Another Ryde outfit, Plushy Edwards blend of raw indie punk rock has been honed to perfection. The guys have a very original sound and have just moved to Reading, hoping to continue their push towards stardom. Anyone who has visited their MySpace or picked up a cd from them will testify they are destined for great things. Mixing it up for the Development Suite the band will be performing an acoustic set which went down a storm when they performed at a previous Suite at the Liquid Lounge at the start of the year.

PUZZLE MUTESON
Puzzle Muteson is serious talent. Having burst on the Island music scecne by blowing everyone away at the Wight Noize auditions and securing himself an opening slot at The Nokia Isle Of Wight Festival in 2004, he didn’t dissapoint. His solo blend of passionate acoustic guitar led music is in a field of it’s own, evoking memories of a young Nick Drake or Jeff Buckley. Fresh from a Valentines Day gig in Paris this is music to fall in love with and to, if his last Development Suite set is anything to go by you would be a fool to miss it.

THE WEATHER KINGS
The Weather Kings are an Island 3 piece incorporating harmonica and double bass into the mix. Enjoying a light jazz/blues/funky vibe the guys enjoy getting together, jamming and seeing what comes out – the basis for any band around. Happiness and positivity is the key, I expect your feet to be tapping and a broad smile forming round your face as the guys knock out some beautiful, catchy riffs.

As part of the ever expanding Island Folk scene they regularly gig all over the Island and have played at various Island festivals including The Nokia Festival and Bestival. Miss McCallum posesses an awesome voice complemented by Jono’s understated guitar providing a moving blend that will cut through the heart of even the most hardened individual.
