After their fishing trip with Bembridge fisherman, Mike Curtis last week, The Hairy Bikers were back on the Isle of Wight last night (not literally but on the screen), this time with Michelin starred chef, Robert Thompson.
Robert, currently of The Hambrough in Ventnor (but sadly soon to leave) did a fabulous job of showing off the foodie delights of the Isle of Wight.
In the programme (available on iPlayer until 25th April) we see Robert scavenging on the Ventnor coastline for Rock Samphire to serve with a piece fresh Sea Bass.
He adds garlic from the Garlic Farm and Heritage Tomatoes from Isle of Wight Tomatoes to create a fantastically delicious-looking dish.
