The Park Centre: News UpdateNew Park Centre Website
We have now launched our new website which covers everything the Park Centre offers, from minibus, to courses, to IT to carnival…it’s all there! All profits made on all of our activities got to our charity No. 1096459 and are ploughed straight back in to the community.

Carnival Workshops
Carnival workshops are now being held on Tuesday afternoons (12-2pm) everyone is welcome – we’re looking for performers and creators alike.

Our theme is ‘Egypt’ and will be especially extravagant! We have a team of all sorts of people working on the entry already, but the more the merrier!

Canine Capers
Canine Capers is a new six week activity to be held once a week throughout the Summer holidays. A weekly activity (over six weeks) involving dogs and their owners in an hour long session of fun, activity, recall and play.

These are not obedience lessons as such – but will teach the dog basic commands (sit, down, paw etc) as well as distraction (if a dog has a tendency to chase things) and recall (if a dog has a tendency to run away and not come back!) A great way to socialise your dog, occupy his mind, and have some fun!

The Park Centre: MinibusWe also now have a new community minibus available for hire – £30 per half day and £60 per full day – 15 seater (inc driver) – probably some of the best rates offered Islandwide.

Jumble Sale
Friday 18th July from 2 – 5pm at The Park Centre, High Park Road, Ryde.

Come along and find some bargains whilst helping support the work of the Centre.

£20 a year seems good value for unlimited use of the computer facilities (as long as one’s free during weekdays) and the computer charity shop is a good idea too.
