Isle of Wight Music is the worlds first not-for-profit music label (how cool is that), serving Island bands. In association with Half Price Records, on Saturday 3rd March, they will be hosting a night of splendiferous music and entertainment at Ryde Theatre.
Playing for your pleasure will be the melodic Motion Pictures, Drew, The Denvers, Martin Newnham and SlipDisc DJs – Nemesis, AB and The Sparrow.
As if all that wasn’t enough, extra entertainment comes in the shape of the Kasbah Chillout Lounge and Shot Girl Hospitality – I have no idea what this is, but it sounds good.
As this is their first promotion at Ryde Theatre, there are a limited number of half price tickets. So for just a fiver you can dance your socks off to all these great bands. If you turn up on the night you can still buy a ticket, but it’ll cost you a tenner – so get it sorted now.
For those of you travelling up from South Wight and not wanting to catch the bus, WightRollers will be running a pick up and return service. Check out the Session07 site for pick up times (which is currently tipped for 7.20pm from Ventnor). It’s only an extra fiver for a seat there and back, so well worth it.
