If you’re into architecture, then we expect you’ll be interested in a lecture taking place this coming Thursday evening.
The lecture is the first in the RIBA/IOWAC lecture series for 2011.
‘The texture of buildings’ is a talk by award-winning architect Stephen Taylor of Stephen Taylor Architects.
Stephen was Building Design Masterplanning Architect of the Year in 2010 and BD Architect of the Year Award for Housing 2009.
His lecture explores some of the practice’s recent projects and the idea of how buildings are shaped by their sites – and how they shape our cities and landscape in turn.
The lecture takes place at Quay Arts and will cost just £5.
