The Waxworks, one of our favourite new bands on the Wight, will be appearing live on Glyn Taylor’s Live and Local show on Sunday 21st September between 8-9pm for an unplugged session.
Along with 20 other bands/musicians, you can hear music by The Waxworks on the Wight Trash Transitions CD (still some limited edition copies left for sale) and they’re also involved in Volume Two of the CD which is due out in the near future.
The purpose of the CD, as well as bringing together the best of Island music, is to raise much needed cash for the renovations to the Ventnor Skate Park.
Waxwork Number One (the lead singer) tells us that the track they will be donating for the second volume of the Transitions CD, will be a bit softer that the last (shame).
Hear them being interviewed and play live on IW Radio 102/7 fm.
