Theatretrain Isle of Wight is staging Les Miserables (School Edition) at Medina Theatre later this year, and the organisation is now inviting young people across the Island to audition for the production.
The open call welcomes any young person aged 12 to 18 – not just existing Theatretrain students – making it an accessible opportunity for teenagers with little or no stage experience, as well as seasoned performers.
Full cast needed
Organisers are looking to fill roles across the entire production, from lead characters to the ensemble cast.
Julie from Theatretrain Isle of Wight says the group has a “revolution” brewing, and describes the audition process as a “massive open door” opportunity for local teenagers.
She adds that the organisation wants to give young performers the chance to tackle “iconic roles”, whether they have performed before or are a “diamond in the rough” waiting to be discovered.
How to get involved
Young people aged 12 to 18 – by October – can register their interest by emailing [email protected] or by booking an audition slot directly through the online form.
