Three Cheers For The Tiffin Room

Whilst we’re on the subject of food and drink, big cheers all round for Shuba at The Tiffin Room, who walked off last weekend with a rather splendid award from The Isle of Wight Healthy Eating Alliance.

The award ceremony took place on Friday, and there were six awards, plus one for outstanding contribution which was picked up by Downside Middle Schools extended schools manager, Fran Shelley, for her work implementing healthy eating.

The Tiffin Room at Bonchurch Manor picked up the Business: Hospitality Award (sponsored by Smart Training and Recruitment). As we’ve mentioned before, The Tiffin Room use no processed foods anywhere in their menus, all ingredients are natural, fresh and free from additives. Not only that, but most of the food is local.

We were pleased to hear that The Tiffin Room will be open over the winter months and a new menu will be coming out shortly with more emphasis on mediterranean cuisine.

Well done Shuba and everyone else involved with The Tiffin Rooms success.
