A vacancy on the Shanklin Town Council has led to the call for a local election.
Three people have been nominated to stand for the vacancy in the South Ward, the elections for which will take place on Thursday 14th June 2012.
Bob Blezzard of Perowne Way, Sandown, Ray Bloomfield of Vaughan Way, Shanklin and Geof Clynch of Oaklyn Gardens, Shanklin have all been nominated for the vacancy.
