Heart-throb actor for women of a certain age, Tom Conti, revealed on a US TV programme that he had a close encounter of a spooky kind on the Isle of Wight.
He told the audience, “I was shooting a movie and I woke up in the early hours… and I heard somebody walking up and down beside the bed.” After looking and finding nothing, things got way more spooky, “… the next thing I felt was 10 fingers (pressing) into my shoulder. Of course, I whirled around and there was nobody there.”
Wooooo!
Two nights later he said he confronted the ‘ghost’, “It came back… and I said, ‘Hello, is there anything I can help you with?’ and it stopped. Finished. That was the end of it.”
(Don’t ever say that VentnorBlog doesn’t cover the hard-hitting stories!)
Do you know which film?
Anyone know which film he was filming on the Isle of Wight?
Update 10:51: Thanks to Karen Amanda Shelley for letting us know he was filming at Mirabells in St Lawrence/ She tells us that she, “used to ride by on horse an wave to the film crew.”
