After a tree fell across the train line this evening at a little before 5pm.
Trains were blocked in both directions and Island Line showed great customer service, arranging taxis for those stuck on board.
After telling passengers on the South-bound train that the delay was expected to be over an hour, the passengers were delighted to hear that Red Line taxis would be called, taking them to the stations that the train would have.
At the time of publishing (17:30) some of the passengers are in the taxis being drive to the stations.
