Once again ‘Flaming June’ has proved to be a damp squib for tonight’s (Tuesday) scheduled Travel Plus National Development League match against the King’s Lynn Young Stars has been postponed to prevent riders, management, meeting officials and supporters of both clubs unnecessary travel.
All weather forecasts, including the hour-by-hour Meteorological Office and Radar maps indicate a 50% chance of rain hitting Ryde this afternoon rapidly increasing to a 90% chance, hence this decision.
As yet no new date for the match has been agreed but we’ll bring you news on that as soon as possible.
