Two Isle of Wight men charged with making threats to kill

Two men have been charged with making threats to kill in Newport.

This follows an incident at an address in St John’s Road on the evening of Friday 10th June.

Arrested and charged
Following enquiries, the following two people were arrested and charged with offences:

  • A 29-year-old, formerly of Culver Parade in Sandown, charged with making threats to kill, and racially aggravated common assault.
  • A 31-year-old of Arnold Road in Cowes, charged with making threats to kill.

Court appearances
They were both remanded in custody to appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Monday 13th June).

At the hearing, they were remanded further to appear at Isle of Wight Crown Court on 26th July.
