A report of a robbery in Cowes on the Isle of Wight is prompting an appeal for witnesses.
Two 20-year-old men from the Isle of Wight were arrested on suspicion of robbery and bailed until September 21, 2011 pending further enquiries.
Two men, aged 19 and 20, from the Isle of Wight, were approached from behind while they were in Queens Road, Cowes at 11.40pm on Monday, August 8, 2011.
It’s alleged someone threatened them and demanded money. One of the victims handed over £10 and several receipts. The other victim handed over £20 and a mobile phone. No injuries were reported.
