Understand the mysteries of the Universe at Isle of Arts Festival

THIS IS A SPONSORED FEATURE

You might be mistaken for thinking that the Isle of Arts Festival would only feature events such as music, comedy and theatre.

In fact, there are several interesting talks also taking place, one of which is being led by BBC One’s Stargazer LIVE presenter Mark Thompson at St Catherine’s Church on Saturday 2nd May.

A frequent broadcaster, appearing on The One Show, The Alan Titchmarsh Show, and many news networks, Mark is keen to share his love of astronomy with as many people as possible.

His book ‘A Down to Earth Guide to the Cosmos’ was a hit and in this show Mark will reveal some of the mysteries of the universe, using plain language, clever science and mind-blowing demonstrations, including making a rocket before your very eyes!

Suitable for all ages from “clever seven years olds” upwards.

Special deal for under 16s
Isle of Arts Festival organisers are offering free entry for one young person under the age of 16 with any one paying adult.

Book your tickets through the Isle of Arts Festival Website or in person from Seasons newsagent on Venntor High Street.
