A new, weekly chess club has started in Rookley.
As part of ‘Chess in Schools and Communities,’ the group runs from 11:15am to 2pm on Wednesdays, at Rookley Village Hall (term time).
The group has several chess sets.
Just turn up
There is no need to book and there’s plenty of on-site parking.
Entry is £2, which includes a cuppa (or two) and biscuits.
Have a friendly, relaxed game of chess and meet others. All abilities welcome.
Other games available
If chess isn’t your thing, we also have Scrabble, some simple card games and mindful colouring.
Bring a packed lunch if you wish.
