Following the piece last week on the Ventnor Library Reading Group …
At the moment, the Reading Group is well and truly full with 19 people in it….
however…..that doesn’t mean that folk who want to, can’t start their own!
The existing group meet on a Wednesday evening in the library, after we close, every 4 or 5 weeks. I wouldn’t be able to host another one but….plenty of Reading Groups meet in other venues than the Library…like their own homes, or even better in the pub, cafe, or other social/public site such as the park in good weather.
What could be nicer than an evening spent discussing your book and putting the world to rights over some tapas? I’d be happy to help you borrow sets of books from the library through our Headquarters. You could pick up the sets from us if that is convenient for you.
If any group expresses an interest I can help them publicise it and put them in touch with the right person at Headquarters.
