The pathetically hypocritical Ventnor Blog haven’t even mentioned a forthcoming festival.
Never shy to impose their blathering opinions on their readers, Ventnor Blog, hasn’t said a word about a festival that, apparently, will start in Ventnor this week.
After banging on endlessly about Bestival for weeks and sounding off about the civic duty of The County Press and their near zero coverage of the Powerboat P1, it looks like VB has done exactly the same about this coming festival.
(BTW good to see that the CP got an attack of the guilts the following week and put a piece about the success of the Powerboat P1 on the 3rd page!)
Waiting for crowds
As you’ll all remember, the 10,000 people that we were told hit the last Jazz festival really crowded out Ventnor (what do you mean you didn’t you notice?), so hopefully crowd fencing has been put up in town to cope with an influx of visitors this weekend.
If you didn’t know, the organisers of the Jazz event are also intimately involved with this weeks event.
We wish the bands involved every success for the weekend, both at the event … and in getting themselves paid.
