Ventnor Boots Break-in (Updated)

It’s not often that we have to report on crime in Ventnor, which make this story all the more unusual.

Ventnor Boots Break-inWe heard from Christopher Gutteridge overnight that it looked like there had been a break-in at Boots in Ventnor last night.

From the photo that he sent through to us from his mobile, it looks like someone must have been desperate to get their hands on some perfume, as one of the glass doors had been broken and boxes, bottles and a glass shelf were spread over the floor near the doorway.

By the time Chris was there, the door way had been safely boarded up.

We popped down there this morning and saw that the damage inside has yet to be cleaned up, so it’s possible that Boots might be a little slow in opening this morning.
